Death and Rebirth of a Movement: Queering Critical Ethnic Studies
This article explores the possible radical and transformative relationship between queer theory and critical ethnic studies. At its heart, the discussion explores which subjects sit at the center of a progressive queer politics concerned with issues of violence, racism, homophobia, and their intersections. Young activists are charting new ways of using the theories taught in the classroom to re-imagine a queer politics rooted in the lives of people of color.
